Value Statement

     George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center is committed to the spiritual, intellectual, 

     cultural and physical development of the community at large.

Goals

     Provide a facility that will incorporate performing arts, art instruction, museum, art gallery, cultural 

     programs, research library and multi-purpose meeting spaces.

     Offer seminars, educational programming, children, youth and family activities, special events and

     exhibits related to the museum and cultural centers mission, which, showcases the rich

     African-American cultural heritage.

     Seek partnerships with other community organizations to promote and enhance the visibility of the  

     Museum and Cultural Center.

     Advocate the importance of cultural arts related programs in the community.

     Diversify and expand funding sources to provide stable financial resources for the Museum and

     Cultural Center.
